HOW SOFTWARE WORKS
- A rig with no OS still POSTs and runs — it just shows a command prompt and earns nothing. The OS is what turns iron into a working machine.
- Apps only run on the OS families they name. The card says which, and the chip tells you whether that matches the rig you are building.
- Software is a NODE like any part: drop it in the Workshop and cable its output into a disk slot — OS into "OS / boot", apps into "App 1-3". Installing an OS needs one restart, exactly like real iron.
- SIM-MINER earns the hashing income, SIM-GUARD cleans viruses, and the task apps run timed jobs on their own with daily goals on top.
